On Saturday, Feb. 4, Peli-Peli played host to a high-powered soiree in Houston to kick off Super Bowl weekend. The star-studded event featured many notable celebrities, executives, tastemakers and trailblazers in the entertainment industry.

Hosted by Black-ish star, Anthony Anderson and co-hosted by NFL free agent Ahmad Bradshaw, the event set standards high for the events to come during Super Bowl LI Weekend.

Celebrity blogger, The Bobby Pen interviewed Anthony Anderson and comedian Nephew Tommy while playing party card game Black Card Revoked, a fun and nostalgia-filled game to test your knowledge on all things black.

The entertainers had us laughing as they discuss the secret ingredient to grape Kool-Aid, why all black people go to church on Easter Sunday and what Future might do if Young Metro don’t trust you.

The music selector for this event was none other than, John McLaughlin, the house music DJ who has been popular in Houston for over sever years. McLaughlin is known for also being a former Defensive End with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As an official RNFLPA event and produced by Image PR Boutique, the event promised to be a great way to network and they delivered.
