Don Julio Highlights Modern Mexican Music in Houston with Live Event [PHOTOS]
Don Julio Tequila kicked off its ‘A Summer of Mexicana’ concert series Friday (May 3) in Houston just in time for Cinco de Mayo. In partnership with Sony Music Latin, inspiring Mexican creatives who live “Por Amor” helped to bring the beauty of modern Mexico to a national stage.
The evening featured performances by Mexican singer-songwriter Christian Nodal and Estevie, along with signature Tequila Don Julio cocktails including a classic Margarita with Tequila Don Julio Blanco, a refreshing Paloma made with my personal fave Tequila Don Julio Reposado and a Tequila Don Julio 70 Cristalino Sour. The unforgettable evening was marked by the celebration of modern Mexico’s rich culture and influence.
Los Angeles and Chicago are up next! Don Julio has your Summer Mexicana celebrations covered with personalized playlists custom created according to each listeners preferred vibes. Enjoy Latin music now the 4th biggest collection of genres on Spotify, there’s something for everyone – whether lounging poolside or celebrating a night out with your crew.
Mexican illustrator Dia Pacheco has teamed up with the brand to release the ‘A Summer of Mexicana’ Artist Edition available just in time for Cinco de Mayo and through the summer season. Each carefully drawn box design showcases vibrant symbols of Mexico reminiscent of Pacheco’s own experience growing up in the colorful town of Merida, Yucatán. The limited-edition Tequila Don Julio Blanco and Tequila Don Julio Reposado artist boxes are sold at select retailers nationwide including online at ReserveBar and Caskers while supplies last.
