Doja Cat Turned NYC’s The Museum of Sex Out at Interactive “HOT PINK” Album Release Party [PHOTOS]
Doja Cat released her first full-length album “HOT PINK” since the viral success and brought the sex, shock & awe to her release party in New York City last Wednesday (Nov. 6) at the Museum of Sex, and I must say the vibe and aesthetics were killer!
The “Bitch I’m a Cow” singer had every room filled with fun sexual related games to play intertwining Doja Cat’s quirky personality that fans see through her music videos and performance costumes.
Many socialities and fellow artists were in attendance including DJ Drewski from Hot 97/ Love and Hip Hop New York, recording artists Good Girl was also in full effect looking absolutely swaggy, and Latin Sensation J. Balvin was also spotted in The Sex Museum. His presence seemed to have caused confusion amongst staff and press. Was J Balvin trolling Doja Cat’s album release party or was he looking to purchase some sex toys for his own personal enjoyment? The world may never know.
Everything was so well thought out. Complementary Gem & Rose mezcal & Babe Rose sparkling wine was served in reuseable cups with the album’s “HOT PINK” logo, making them a great take-home gift. The pole dancers were phenomenal! Of course, a Doja Cat party wouldn’t be complete without headband cat ears and stickers with her album art.
Doja Cat hit the stage around 11 o’clock and performed three songs: “Juicy,” “Rules,” and “Won’t Bite.” Her performance was high energy, the crowd was singing along word-for-word. Her fashion was giving life! Super pink and girly with an edge of sexy. The vibe was unmatched. One of the best album release parties I’ve ever attended. Looking forward to seeing this budding artist continue to break barriers while keeping our eyes and ears visually & lyrically stimulated.
Special thank you RCA Records for having us.
