Broccoli City announced today that Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and actress, Erykah Badu – aka DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown – is headlining this year’s Broccoli City Festival (BC Fest) on Saturday, April 25th at Gateway Pavilion DC.

Debuting in 2013, the annual Earth Day celebration unites thousands of diverse BC Festival-goers for a day of art, food, culture, yoga, and a wide range of musical performances. With last year’s attendance eclipsing 6,000, this year’s turnout is expected to be greater.

 “We’re very excited about this year’s festival and look forward to commemorating the 45^th anniversary of Earth Day with one of the most influential artist of our generation headlining,” said Broccoli City co-founder Brandon McEachern. “Every year our goal is to deliver BC Festival-goers with a line-up that’s unique to the BC Fest experience.”
