I've been practically living on the road this summer. As soon as I graduated from Temple I started working as a waitress at TGI Fridays because I knew it would be easier to get rehired there than try to start all over somewhere else. For the most part I'm content with my decision. I have a little money where I had none for quit some time. However, I'm still in limbo. I've been looking for jobs in communications & applying for several journalism internships. I've come close to positions, but sadly, nothing has come through for me yet.

Being the resilient, motivated, and ambitious young woman I am, I'm going to keep searching until I find my dream job. Until then, I'll carve my own path. Create my own online publication, cover my own stories, and develop a voice and style of my own. I just ask that you guys join me on this highway to success.

I'm still finding my way, but I refuse to be a victim of circumstance. There's never an excuse to live that way. I wish much success to all my friends from high school and fellow TU Owls much success in their endeavors.
