9 Moving Hacks: How To Pack an Apartment Easy
Give, Throw Away or Sell Old Stuff
Let’s face it, a lot of us have closets and dressers full of clothes we no longer wear and a nicknack drawer full of stuff we’ve forgotten about.
Rather than keep dragging stuff that really doesn’t serve a purpose with you– or worse, paying for storage for items you really don’t need– why not just get rid of it? Purge!
Moving is a great opportunity for a fresh start, so make three piles to sort.
Create a Give away pile, a Sale pile, and a Throw away pile
It’s really simple. Answer the following:
Do some of the things cluttering your space fill the need of someone you know? Could the less fortunate benefit from a donation like this? If yes, put that in the Give Away pile.
Do you have really nice items that no longer fit you, you’ve recently upgraded, never even used or wore? This might be a moneymaking opportunity. Become a vendor. Consider a local bazaar, garage sale, consignment shop, or e-commerce platform.
Some options include eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or Poshmark. Shop my closet.
Anything else that doesn’t fit one of those descriptions must go. Just throw it away. You’ll be fine. I promise. LOL
