This tweet is from Chris Brown’s mother. Yes, the mother of the controversial 20 year old R&B singer Chris Brown. My first question, has to be, why are you on Twitter? Moreover, why are you making OUTRAGEOUS CLAIMS like this one? Did you talk to the Grim Reaper personally and get this message? *sigh* I just don’t know how to feel about this one. She tried it! 

I will go out on a limb and hail Brown as the closet thing to Jackson in 2010. Brown has come back rather strong and people seem to be forgiving of his “situation” with Rihanna. (Chris likes to call him beating this woman black and blue a “situation,” so I’ll go with it.) Deuces is No. 1 on the Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B charts, No. 2 on BET’s video countdown show 106 & Park, and among the top downloaded songs on iTunes. So, have we forgiven Brown? Were we ever really that upset with him? I know we were disappointed, but did fans throw their albums out of the car while it was moving? I think the “situation” gained a little light, but was more swept under the rug than anything else. Is that a reflection on society, on our generation? It takes a lot to get the 17-25 year old crowd upset apparently. Is Brown the next Michael Jackson? How do you feel?
