Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle Razor [Product Review]
Summer’s here, and I know many of you ladies are concerned about your bikini line. Luckily for me, as a Bzz Agent (pronounced buzz), I had the pleasure of getting the new Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle razor. This razor totes that it is exclusively designed for the curves of woman, promising a close shave without irritation. Plus, it has an adjustable comb for easy maintenance of your bikini zone. With all these great claims I had to give the new Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle razor a try.
[row][one_third]Pro Tip: It’s always good to exfoliate the area to prevent ingrown hairs, but is a scrub is too harsh right after a shave? Try using ShaveWorks Pearl Souffle Shave Cream. Not only does this cream help you get a closer shave but, it’s formulated with phytic and glycolic acid to exfoliate for you in one step. It’s also formulated with lavender, ginger, and vanilla to help heal and soothe the skin after a shave.[/one_third][two_thirds]To be honest at first glance this razor is a bit daunting. It has an adjustable trimmer on one side and a razor on the other end. The packaging states that this razor is waterproof as well, so using it in the shower should be a breeze. They suggest pairing this product with a Skintimate Skin Therapy Silky Skin shave gel but, I’m addicted to my favorite ShaveWorks Pearl Souffle Shave Cream. Read my Pro Tips to the left to learn why I love this stuff. I’m about to go and experience this razor, wish me luck![/two_thirds][/row]
This razor has five blades that can flex and bend with the curves of a woman. The trimmer has not one but, four adjustable settings to ensure you have the desire length, look, and feel. Last but not least, this razor has a moisturizing serum that’s water activated to help your skin replenish and retain it’s own natural moisture for up to two hours after shaving. For those who have sensitive skin, have no worries this product is hypoallergenic.
To be honest, I’m still confused on how to use the four different settings on the trimmer side. After playing around with the razor for a few moments, I gave up and just dove right in. I tried doing slight maintenance with the comb on top of the trimmer but, had difficulties actually trimming my bikini zone. However, once I removed the comb tip it because easy to trim and use. The razor side on the other hand is fantabulous. It gave me an amazingly close shave on my legs. I literally wanted to show my legs off once I hopped out of the shower. The moisturizing serum that surrounds the razor does leave the skin feeling extremely supple and moisturize. All in all, this product seem to give me all that I am looking for: an extremely close shave leaving my skin feeling hydrated and a no fuss bikini trimmer that makes it seamless to maintain that erogenous zone.

Overall, I give this product 4 stars because this razor is everything. I never had a shave experience like this before. However, I did take off 1 star because I’m still convinced this trimmer only has one setting despite the four they advertise on the packaging. All in all, I feel this razor is slightly above average because of it’s moisturizing serum and the built in trimmer. I promise you will be singing like the ladies in Pitch Perfect 2 once you give the new Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle razor a try. Let me know your take on this product and as always, stay priceless!
