Getting lost in music is a great way to shake off the stress. Simply create a playlist of your favorite songs or even nature sounds and focus on the composition. Notice a new adlib or melody, or focus on the peaceful sound of water running over stones. I even like to listen to Instrumentals or Jazz music so that I don’t get hung up on lyrics.

I’m a huge fan of Marion Medows. He is a contemporary Jazz saxophonist who covers R&B classics like “Between the Sheets” by the Isley Brothers or “Wishing on a Star” by Rose Royce. Marion Meadows is a whole vibe, ya’ll!

I also like Spotify playlists like Mellow Beats, Creativity Boost, and Soul Coffee.
