The Resurrection
Firstly, I would like to thank you guys for your all of your support. I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback and I appreciate all the blogroll love. I’m really sorry to have left you all hanging the way I did, but I’m back! So let’s pick up where we left off, shall we?
“I don’t normally do this, but…
KEEP THE PARTY GOIN’!” *btw: Jesus didn’t say that.
For those of you who have active social lives, you may or may not have seen Yeezy’s (the rapper better known as Kanye West) visually interesting and high energy performance on Saturday Night Live this week. Of course the verse on “Power” of him taking shots at the sketch comedy show was revised, and I must say, it’s fire! And what would the appearance have been had Kanye not given a toast to the assholes and perform his latest single “Runaway,” bringing out the song’s feature Pusha T of the hip-hop duo The Clipse. Check out the performance here:
Last week, I had the opportunity to catch Ellen DeGeneres’s daily talk show, and on Tuesday she had the 7 year old rapper from Memphis, Tenn. Lil’ P-Nut, who’s been rapping since his father used the method to help him with his math equations at the age of four. He writes his own lyrics by drawing inspiration from whatever is around him, which is mainly watching kids play at the playground he told Memphis’s Fox network. The mimi- emcee answered a few questions for DeGeneres and really carried himself more like a 47 year old than a first grader. Nevertheless, he was the most adorable thing I’ve seen since The Chipmunks Movie. After his appearance, Ellen gifted the baby Bad Boy with his very own Cadillac Escallade– By Fisher Price of course. He had no trouble figuring out how to maneuver the truck from the set. Here, he performs his song “You Might Be the One For Me.”
