Case Performs Intimate “Heaven’s Door” Live Session in DC [PHOTOS]
90’s R&B star Case, best known for his hit featuring a 16-year-old Foxxy Brown “Touch Me, Tease Me,” is back and hasn’t missed a beat with new album “Heaven’s Door.”
Last week, Majic 102.3 hosted their second Live Session featuring the New York artist at Stonefish Lounge in Northwest, DC. The event was an opportunity for their listeners to have an intimate evening with the best and the brightest of the industry. Radio personality, Adimu Colon interviewed Case live taking questions from the fans following a mini-concert.
Case shared with fans that at one point he lost his love for the “business” in the music buisness. He needed time to regroup and get back to the passion he once had. He also said he’s noticed there is a lack of love in Black music right now. He said that our music used to be directly influenced by what’s going on in our lives, but he has love and compassion in life, yet the current mainstream music doesn’t reflect that. “Heaven’s Door” is here to change that.
This “straight up R&B album” featuring “real music” covers topics from relationship repair to makeup sex.
