ESSENCE Festival 2018 Lineup Announced [LIST]
For the last 24 years ESSENCE Festival, presented by Coca-Cola, takes New Orleans by storm as one of the nation’s largest live events. ESSENCE Festival estimates an annual 500,000 attendees gather for three days of music, entertainment, empowerment, and culture.
This year’s ESSENCE Festival promises performances from Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Snoop Dogg, Janet Jackson, SWV, Miguel, The Roots, XSCAPE, Fantasia + way too many others to name. Check out the full line up below.
Last year was my first ESSENCE Music Festival and I had a blast! From the weather to the culture, everyone deserves a visit to New Orleans and ESSENCE weekend is a great time.
All the bars on Bourbon Street invite characters who will entertain or even shock you. All the restaurants featuring Creole food will make you want to lick the plate. The architecture tells a story perseverance and victory. And to hear natives call you “baby” gives special meaning to the term “Southern Hospitality.”
