How did you get started, and how did you get to where you are today?

I started my business as a vendor selling jewelry and helping other women sell their products for a commission. I then transitioned into teaching people how to market their businesses and now I teach them how to start and grow them.

Challenges and Obstacles

Has it been a smooth road? If not, what were some of your struggles along the way?

I would say the road has been one that winds. There were some difficult turns because I had to learn what worked for me, raising my prices, and how ro let go of things that were just breaking even. The hardest lesson I Learned was to never value anyone else’s business more than your own. This lesson birthed my boom, The 90 Day Focus Your Action Plan for Success. I had to diversify my income and not let it all ride on one client with the big check, because leaving meant starting over, but from a place of wisdom.

About Your Product / Service

What do you do? What are you most proud of and what sets you apart?

I am known for marketing and providing workshops that are immediately actionable and packed full of resources. My secret sauce is the ability to listen and provide solutions and alternatives for attendees. Giving people a new way to do something or an option they hadn’t considered has turned many people into Evangelists for my brand. I tell people do listen, do the things, and the things will bring you results. “The things” are different for each person and their level of dedication, but they always work when people take action. I am most proud and being able to work solely for myself over the last, almost 12 years. I have amazing clients and a malleable business that I control. My Discernment. Being able to listen and then help a person set goals based on their level of focus. I learn what my clients need and provide that. Even when teaching in a 1 hour webinar I know that people need options from novice to expert.

Pricing information

My consultant rates are currently at $100 per hour and I do manage social media for clients starting at $1200 per month with a minimum 90 day contract. I teach bootcamps monthly and have on demand classes.

Clients are welcome to book 1 on 1 sessions at www.ladybizness.com/services and for management I usually take one new client every 2-3 months to maintain quality and capacity.
