How did you get started, and how did you get to where you are today?
Myself and my husband started this brand simply from seeing a lack of representation in accessories for health care workers. I’m a nurse so first hand I saw how great it felt to be represented with a beautiful melanated graphic. Art has always been a passion of mine so this was a way to combine my love for both art and healthcare.
Challenges and Obstacles
Has it been a smooth road? If not, what were some of your struggles along the way?
The road has not been smooth but it’s definitely worth the grind. The growth of the business has allowed me to go from full time to part time as a nurse. Our business growth has been amazing and that takes a lot of financial investment.
