How did you get started, and how did you get to where you are today?

I started out working as a private chef for athletes. My final pay check was used to pay all of my bills. After that, I took my last $500 to invest in my own business where I started selling plates. My first restaurant was opened in 2019 subsequent to flipping that money. Now, I’m opening my second restaurant location in Maryland.

Challenges and Obstacles

Has it been a smooth road? If not, what were some of your struggles along the way?

The journey hasn’t been smooth. However, the key is to keep pushing no matter what. Furthermore, finding dependable staff is necessary for growth, especially in this industry. Therefore, the biggest struggle I’ve faced has been finding a strong team.

About Your Product / Service

What do you do? What are you most proud of and what sets you apart?

Our menu is unique. Many of the items can’t be found elsewhere, therefore, I’d say everything is a specialty. Additionally, I am most proud of the ability to scale – two locations in under 2 years as a result of hard work!
