TGT 3 Kings Tour Baltimore : Tank x Ginuwine x Tyrese revive R&B [VIDEO]
New male R&B group, featuring very familiar faces, TGT graced Baltimore’s Pier 6 Concert Pavillion last Friday, July 12 to put the Rhythm and Blues back in R&B. Tyrese said, “You won’t find any pop, no house, no techno, just real R&B” on upcoming release, Three Kings, set to hit iTunes August 20th.
The group, comprised of actor, author and model Tyrese Gibson of Fast and Furious 6, silky Maryland native and “Pony” crooner Ginuwine and Baltimore’s Morgan State University grad “Shots Fired” vocalist Tank, made the cool breeze of the Baltimore Harbor HOT! The sexy trio reminded the audience of why we fell in love with them individually by performing separate sets of their most popular tunes to make the ladies swoon.

After opening act Avant, Ginuwine was first up and hit songs like “Differences,” while giving us his infamous dance numbers and body roll. Next was Tank who thanked Baltimore profusely for making himwho he is today and encouraged the overzealous security team to let the ladies get up close and personal with his topless form. He performed sexy singles like, “Maybe I Deserve,” “One Man,” and “This is How I Feel.” Completing the trifecta, Tyrese came out next kicking his set off with his debut smash single, “Sweet Lady,” the hook to Chingy’s “Pulling me Back” and zodiac influenced “Sings of Love Making.”
I have seen Tank open for Ginuwine before, so it was a pleasure seeing Tyrese for the first time. I have to admit I was curious to see how these similar yet different acts would work together, but the TGT reveal was quite impressive.
The trio paid homage to amazing R&B groups of yesterday by singing hits like Jodeci’s “Feein'” and Bel Biv Devoe‘s “Poison.” Finally, the group sung the first grown and sexy single “Sex Never Felt Better” from their forthcoming album “Three Kings.” The performance showcased the group’s brotherly connection as their playful side showed them running across the stage together and mocking the other’s given “side” of the concert hall.
I had a really great time at the show and with much persistence I made my way backstage to congratulate Tank on a job well done and captured these words below.
