2010 Soul Train Awards Nominees List
Yesterday, the nominee list for the 2010 Soul Train Awards was released. Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson will be the hosts for the show that will be aired on the BET and Centric networks November 28 at 9 p.m.
Artists set to perform this year include: R. Kelly, Ne-Yo, Ce-Lo, Keyshia Cole, Rick Ross, Erykah Badu, Eric Benet, Chrisette Michele, Lalah Hathaway, Faith Evans, Janelle Monae, Gyptian, Freddie Jackson, Jeffery Osborne, Tamia and Tank.
There are a few names I’m dying to see, and a few I’m dying laughing at, but overall it sounds like a pretty good line-up.
This year’s Legend Awards will be presented to Ron Isley and (one of my favorite singers) Anita Baker. Also, Centric has dedicated a category to those artists we should look out to be the “next best thing.”
