The 57th Grammy Awards is going to be full of glamorous hair, makeup, and of course unbelievable talent. Some of this year’s top nominees include: Beyoncé, Meghan Trainor, Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Sia and Jhené Aiko.
To celebrate this year’s Grammy nominees, I’ve decided to create a makeup look inspired by these ladies. Check it out!

Sultry Eyes

Inspired By Beyoncé (Urban Contemporary/ R&B Artist With 6 Nominations)

And Meghan Trainor (Pop Artist With 2 Nominations)

Aren’t we mesmerized by these ladies’ eyes? To recreate this sultry eye look follow these simple steps:

  • Start by using eye shadow primer to base the lids

My personal favorite is Stay Don’t Stray from Benefit

  • Next, grab a matte eye shadow palette to do a neutral smokey eye

I suggest using Smashbox’s Double Exposure Palette due to the wide variety colors in this set

  • Follow up by adding lashes to accentuate this sultry eye look

I used Sephora Collection False Eyelashes in Regal

  • Tighten up this look using a liquid liner to blend the false lashes into your own

Stila’s Stay All Day waterproof liquid eyeliner in black is the liner I suggest due to ease of use

Flawless Contour

Use a foundation stick in the deepest shade, marsala colored blush, and a gold highlight. Follow these steps for a glamourous, chiseled mug.

  • Using the blush first, apply to apples of cheeks towards your temple

I suggest Nars blush in “Amour.”

  • Follow up by applying the cream foundation stick beneath the apples of the cheeks

I start applying at the tragus of the ear in a downward, sweeping motion.

  • After this step, bring a little to the corner of your forehead and along the base line of your jawline

My favorite product to contour with is Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in Espresso but, you can also use any concealer or full coverage foundation two shades deeper than your actually complexion. Use a buffing brush to blend into skin.

  • Complete your contour applying a highlight cream directly on the cheekbone under the eye

I like to bring it up in a sweeping motion towards the end of your brow.

  • Use an airbrush concealer to blend this highlight into the skin

The best product to use to achieve this look is Benefit’s Watts Up. This highlight has just the right amount of shimmer to leave your fans wanting more.

 Timeless Red Lip

Inspired By Taylor Swift (Country/ Pop Artist With 3 Nominations)

And Sia (Pop Artist With 4 Nominations)

This star studded look is missing a bold pop of color. Sometimes, a more natural make up look does not add that pizzazz needed to make a grand entrance. Adding a classic red lip like how Sia or Taylor Swift can round out this look.

  • First exfoliate the lip to provide a smooth surface for the color to lay on

Fresh’s Sugar Lip Scrub is a great product to exfoliate dead skin and add moisture.

Let this mask sit on your lips for 3 mins before you begin to line your lips with a red lip liner.

  • Use a lip liner with a hint of brown notes, like Brick from MAC to add dimension to the lips

  • Once you’ve lined your lips, take your favorite crimson color and apply it to the lower lip first (starting from the other corners of the lip & working your way towards the middle)

  • Next, starting from your cupid’s bow— that little v at the top of your lips– apply your lipstick to the outer edges of your lips

Great products to use are Bite Beauty’s Lip Pencil in Tannin or Givenchy Le Rouge in 307.

Want to take this lip to the next level like Taylor Swift?

Add a pop of shine right on the fullest part of your lips to make them even more kissable. I prefer to use Hourglass Extreme Sheen High Shine Lip Gloss in Icon to do the trick.

Brows On FLEEK!

Inspired By Jhené Aiko (Urban Contemporary/ R&B Artist With 3 Nominations)

Complete this Grammy’s inspired look with brows on FLEEK!  Jhené Aiko has the perfect brows to model after. Achieve the same look with these few steps:

  • After grabbing your Brow Pomade (Anastasia Dip Brow is my go-to), use your brow brush to draw in the outline of your brow shape

I like to start at the bottom of my brows first before outlining the top.

  • Once this step is complete, begin filling in your brows

If you’re worried you made your brows too dark, have no fear. Grab a spoolie or a q-tip to tone down the color.

  • Next, grab your concealer (one shade lighter than your complexion) or a brow highlighter pencil (like Benefit’s High Brow or Anastasia’s Pro Pencil) and outline your brows again
  • Get your concealer brush (make sure it is clean!) and blend the outline into to your complexion
  • Follow up with clear brow gel to hold your brows in place

To set each of your unique looks

Grab your HD setting powder– I suggest Make Up For Ever HD loose setting powder– and lightly dust all over your face. Now you are GRAMMYs red carpet ready!
