African Pride Olive Miracle Moisturizer Lotion [REVIEW]
Summer is long gone and Fall is upon us. As the colder weather approaches, ladies, this new product from African Pride is a solution for your hair’s Winter woes!
Lil SoSo Productions‘ #ScandalWatchDC launch gave away gift bags of African Pride’s new [amazon_textlink asin=’B018W5UFBI’ text=’Olive Miracle Anti-Breakage Formula Maximum Strength Moisturizing Lotion’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’bobbypen-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’fc46abe8-01ad-11e8-a754-331df426d35a’].
I hadn’t used it since the October 10th event, hosted by Candice Nicole PR at Jin Lounge in Northwest, D.C., but I smelled it’s sweet, fruity scent and I knew I wanted to give it a go… soon.
I was wearing my hair in twists last week, prepping for a twist-out, and wanted to see more sheen.
I reached for the green and gold bottle under my sink, dropped a dime-size dab of the milky cream in my hand, rubbed them together and scrunched it into my damp loose twists. Immediately, my hair color began to sparkle and curly ends pop back to life! I really enjoy the lightweight feel of the oil, and it leaves my hair smelling sooooo good.
I took the twists down, opened them and my curls were stretched, moisturizer and shiny– just the way I had hoped. I’d totally recommend this product for anyone experiencing a little dry hair, due to less moisture in the now brisk air. I think it would be great to use on lightly blow dried hair before braiding or twisting.
