How did you get started, and how did you get to where you are today?

London Ward is one technician that is changing the beauty industry one nail at a time. London Ward is a starpower, beauty educator pioneer who affectionately is known as the Madame CJ Walker of nails. Her brand, Snob Nails, is infiltrating the beauty industry by storm.

London is a licensed instructor in nail techniques and more while also founding her own 3-in-1 acrylic nail system. Her hand mixed and USA made products are available worldwide. London has also become one of the only state approved nail technician schools in Maryland that is certified by the MD Board of Cosmetology.

Her new licensed manicurist program is state approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission for 250 clock hours. This new school will operate in Temple Hills, MD at 3737 Branch Avenue, Suite 1308. Flexible daytime and evening hours are being offered to accommodate all interested students at approved school #1973. Classes are enrolling now. In addition to licensed instruction, London’s patented system is providing easier application for nail technicians everywhere.

The creamy flow of her acrylic system lays smoothly using her Snob Nails’ products and most other brands. Her current product offerings include acrylics, liquids, nail kits, and merchandise. She even offers wholesale distribution to salons. Box subscriptions are another added entity to the Snob Nails brand. Consumers can purchase monthly Mystery Boxes, Ambassador Boxes, or Survival Kits. London also offers nail tutorials through IGTV.

Challenges and Obstacles

Has it been a smooth road? If not, what were some of your struggles along the way?

It definitely has not been a smooth road and I had to learn both patience and money management in order to get to where I am now. I wish I would’ve learned money management a whole lot earlier. It took several big paydays and misuse of those funds before realizing that fast money isn’t the main priority . I then started to find ways to invest back into my business and make my money work for me.
