Tamika Gibson, also known as ‘The Hair Diagram,’ is a recognized beauty influencer and educator, beautifying the world one wig at a time. While studying elementary education at Western Michigan University, she realized she couldn’t picture herself happy in a school classroom. Tamika decided to leave school and join the military where she served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, slaying her comrades with wraps, waves, and wigs on the side. The discipline she gained from the military helped her maintain and grow a lucrative beauty business that has allowed her to retire from styling at the age of forty.

Tamika’s moniker, The Hair Diagram, actually describes her approach to education: In her online courses, she provides a diagram of how to be successful in the hair care industry. Due to her success as a stylist and serial entrepreneur,  the next generation of stylists turn to her to learn the importance of financial planning in their own beauty business as well as the best techniques for installing frontals. 

Tamika is a master digital marketer and social media star with hundreds of thousands of followers across multiple accounts due to her creative content featuring product demos where her other hidden talents like fashion design, set design and comedy are on full display.
